Greetings,

I have discussed with Coach Gibson and Mr. Olson the upcoming football game vs. Britton-Hecla and we have all agreed to forfeit the upcoming matchup. At the forefront of this decision is a priority for the health and safety of our student athletes. I have also been in communication with Britton-Hecla regarding the forfeiture, and we have been in contact with the SDHSAA to ensure all protocols are being followed.

At this point, our varsity program still intends to play our final game at home with GPL. However, if that changes we will communicate with players, families, and fans as soon as possible, including updated information on parents night as well. Thank you for understanding and looking out for the best interest of our players.

In addition, our junior high season is complete, as we do not intend to play the Britton-Hecla game or the JH home game vs. GPL either due to similar concerns.
