Sophomore Addison Heinje was recognized this spring for her amazing season by being selected by the South Dakota Basketball Coaches Association for the All State Girls 3rd Team for Class B! This is a huge honor!

🌨️🏌️‍♂️ What a Whirlwind Golf Season! 🏌️‍♀️🌬️ We hoped for sunny skies all season... but Mother Nature had other plans (remember that SNOW four days before our first practice?! ❄️). Despite the wild weather, our team had an incredible season full of fun, growth, and record-breaking moments! 📍 Webster – Ethan & Natalie crushed last year’s 9 & 18-hole PRs, and Annicka set a new 18-hole PR! 📍 Cattail Crossings (JV) – Annicka (4th 🥇) & Natalie (5th 🥇) brought home medals! Annicka, Natalie, & Kaden broke their 9-hole PRs! 📍 Cattail Crossings (again!) – Natalie earned 3rd place 🥇 and broke another 9-hole PR! 📍 Varsity Meet – Natalie broke her 18-hole PR again, and Elijah set a new 9-hole PR for himself! 📍 Bowdle – Drew & Elijah got to see Mr. Frederick! Elijah broke both his 9 & 18-hole PRs and took 9th place 🥇, Drew took 8th 🥇! 📍 Pre-Regions/ECC (in 40+ mph winds!) – Natalie broke her 18-hole PR & tied her 9-hole PR, and Drew crushed a new 9-hole PR! 📍 Deubrook Invite (White) (in 20-25 mph winds!) – Kaden set new 18 & 9-hole PRs, Rhyanna took 5th 🥇 with a new 18-hole PR, and Annicka earned 9th 🥇! 📍 Regions @ Prairie Winds - After being delayed by non-stop rain, we had to make do with indoor and simulator practice (which is helpful... but let’s be honest, nothing beats being out on the course! ⛳). Even with the changes Annicka tied her 18 -hole PR and Natalie tied her 9-hole PR! 🎉 Every meet this season, someone set or broke a PR! 🎉 No one’s heading to State this year, but we walk away from this season with our heads high. We laughed, had fun, and — incredibly — someone set or broke a PR at every single meet! That kind of progress and passion is what makes this team so special. Proud of the growth, grit, and good times we shared. 🏌️‍♀️⛳🏌️‍♂️ Every single golfer worked hard, showed determination, and made this season one to remember! Good morning, this summer we have a LOT going on! There will be more added to this calendar, but for now, you can see some of the open gym, camp, and other activities happening during the summer. Please note the two periods that the gym is off limits- the summer moratorium during the first week of July and the floor resurfacing at the end of July and beginning of August. Ethan Schwenn beat the school record for the 400 yesterday, previously set at 51.38 by Brian Renelt with a time of 50.84! Ethan now sits at first in the state in Class B before heading to Sioux Falls next week! Wilmot has three relay teams and seven individual events qualified for state this year!

Last day of school the fourth graders decided to go back in time. They went to the Old Schoolhouse Museum in Wilmot. While there, they experienced a few school lessons the way pioneer children did.

Job Opening: Full time paraprofessional for the 25-26 school year. This position will work as an aid in the resource room and classroom. Starting pay $15.00 per hour, pays more for experience. Benefits include 80% of full single insurance and SD Retirement. Elementary (First through Third Grade) Awards today at 1:00pm in the gym!

Yesterday, at the Eastern Coteau Conference track meet, our student athletes took home a bevy of medals! On top of that, our varsity boys medley relay team broke the conference meet record of 3:58.48 set in 2013 by seven seconds with a time of 3:51.65!! Congrats Keitrick, Kolby, Ethan, and Jaxen!
