A letter from our Superintendent concerning the recent Volleyball news, parent and senior appreciation, and some updates on post-season play for our players!

Unfortunately, today we were informed by the SDHSAA that we could not hold the scheduled volleyball game on Thursday night with Wyndmere-Lidgerwood. Previously, a team could host/play a game without the points associated for post-season play. As of this year, no games are allowed after October 25th.
Due to a scheduling conflict with Wyndmere-Lidgerwood, there was not an opportunity to try and schedule an event at the last minute for this evening.
We understand the conflict with parents night as previously scheduled, and will make this up as best as we can and communicate as quickly as possible when these plans have been made.
Thank you for understanding and we apologize for the inconvenience(s) this may cause.

On Friday the first graders had to make a picture by fitting their 2D shapes together in a pattern for a math assignment. Students made a honeycomb, a bee, and a flower, a castle, the Eiffel Tower, and a deer with two trees as woods.

Congrats to both guys and girls today on an excellent job at the tournament in Watertown!! Boys ended up winning it all! Awesome job!
