Last week during Teacher Appreciation Week, Hospitality Committee member Holden Olson helped spread a little extra appreciation around Wilmot Elementary! Holden presented elementary teachers with a thoughtful gift featuring a “Thanks for helping us grow” theme — a perfect reminder of the impact our educators make every day.
Thank you to Holden and to Mrs. Ronke for assisting him.

From Mrs. Bucklin:
In Personal Wellness class on Wednesday we were learning about Joe Foss and overcoming obstacles/challenging situations and how we sometimes need to think outside the box and problem solve with others.
We had an activity at the end where they were working with a partner to “Save Fred” (if you aren’t familiar, it’s the activity where you need to get a gummy lifesaver on a gummy worm, and flip his “boat”/plastic cup over without touching him with your hands or letting him touch the table – using only 4 paper clips). Vincent was absolutely phenomenal at this activity! He was at the table in the front and I was watching him pretty closely. His problem solving skills and engineering/mechanical skills are outstanding for a 6th grader!
