Another Dakota Hills record broken!! Addison Heinje, with a time of 17.76 in the 100m hurdles, broke the Dakota Hills track record today previously held by Ashlynn Ebben of 19.84 set in 2019. Congratulations, Addison!

The following message regarding the Winter Athletic Awards Banquet was sent on April 27th. If you misplaced the message or are wondering details, see below:
The Winter Awards Banquet will be held Thursday, May 4th at 7pm in the Wilmot Gym. All student-athletes and family members are invited to attend. The banquet will recognize senior achievement for all sports and recognize basketball and volleyball players and cheerleaders with awards following a meal.
The W-Club will provide chicken & meatballs, a drink, plates, and silverware. Attendees are asked to bring a dish to pass. Families whose last name starts with A to R bring a dish to pass (bread, salads, vegetable, or hot dish) and families whose last name start with S to Z bring a dessert. We will eat first and the awards program will follow. Student-athletes and managers will be recognized at the awards program.

Field Day is coming for Elementary! This year, due to the ECC 4-6 grade track meet being cancelled, we will hold a field day for those students in the morning.
Preschool Registration. We are looking for families who are want to send their child to preschool at the Wilmot School for the 23-24 school year and may not be registered. The child must be 4 years old before September 1st, 2023. If you child meets these requirements please call Renae Bronson at the school.
Just a reminder that there is no school tomorrow, Friday, April 28. This is a teacher work day. Students are welcome to come in for extra help just check in at the office when you arrive.
A reminder: Saturday, April 29th (that's this weekend, folks!) is the 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament. Head over to the school to help fund raise for our basketball programs. Food and drink are available- it all starts at 9am.

The ECC 4-6 Grade Track Meet scheduled for May 4th is now cancelled due to field conditions (covered with snow, standing water, etc. at most tracks in the conference).

The Sisseton track meet scheduled for later this week is also now cancelled.
Congratulations again- this time officially broken (outdoor meet)!! Tigh Gaikowski, Kolby Haubris, Jaxen Dockter, and Kolt Mendenhall with a time of 48.61!!
Tomorrow is Administrative Professionals Day! If you weren't aware, we have the absolute best in Wilmot! Lori, Renae, Tiffany and Stacey keep everything moving and somehow make it all fun! If you see any of them this week, thank them for everything they do for our community!
On behalf of the Wilmot Honor Society, we would like to extend a huge thank you to all who volunteered at our recent blood drive on April 19. We are unable to make this impact without each of you. Thank you all very much. Below is a message from Vitalant to our school.

A Junior High Track Meet in Milbank has been added for tomorrow, April 25th with field events starting at 3:30pm and running events at 4:00pm.
