Prom is next weekend!

The career exploration class had the wonderful opportunity of hosting a representative from Lake Area Tech's Heavy Equipment program who brought along a mini excavator for the students to operate and explore. During this time, students learned more about the program and were privileged to receive guidance from alumni, Austin Metz.
The Kids Heart Challenge kicked off yesterday (formerly Jump Rope for Heart) and the teachers stepped (jumped?) up to challenge as well!

The boys basketball program thanks the Legion for their support!

High School Football jerseys are ready to be ordered! If you're a parent/guardian or player interested in playing football next Fall, see this information and get your info to Mr. Hanson ASAP!

*Updated with the right dates for the elementary letter!
State assessments are just around the corner! See these letters for elementary, middle, and high school students who will be participating.

Jump Rope for Heart kicks off this afternoon! The school’s goal is $1,500! If we can raise that amount Mr. McNamara can get new P. E. equipment, and the students will get a glow in the dark dance party in P.E. class.

I would like to say a huge “thank you” to the 7th-9th band students who spent the day at Rosholt school for the ECC Band Festival. We started the day at 10:00 and rehearsed until 4:00 with short breaks for lunch and supper and then presented a final concert at 5:00. Schools involved in our band of 160 students were from Wilmot, Rosholt, Summit, Waubay and Waverly-South Shore. Our guest conductor for rehearsal and concert was Dr. Simon Tiller from UM at Morris. I am very proud of the excellent effort and behavior displayed by our students!
I also want to give another huge “thank you” to all of the parents and family members that were able to attend the concert. It was wonderful to see you there supporting your child, our band, and school.
The day was extra busy with a shortened schedule and earlier concert time as we also prepared for winter weather headed our way! Again, thank you to all of my students who attended the festival! You are awesome and I am proud of you!!
