Big day today for Curriculum Day #6! Our PK-6 is focusing in on vertical standards alignment for math, and our high school is beginning to develop a curriculum evaluation tool for the district to use moving forward. A great team with a wealth of knowledge and drive!

Due to low numbers for the high school, the JV game with GPL tonight is cancelled. However, we will still have a varsity game and JH Girls game with St. Martin's and move that time. Here's the schedule:

Creativity isn't limited to the classroom! Today a student decided to transform his home lunch noodles and cheez-it's into a sandwich!
Dear parents of prospective Driver’s Ed. Students,
If your child will have reached the age of 14 by May 1st, 2024, they will be able to take Driver’s Ed from Wilmot if they choose to do so.
Mr. Cal Nygaard of Aberdeen will teach the class. This is a total of 30 hours which is the requirement. Mr. Nygaard will set the driving times during class meetings. Each student needs 6 hours of actual drive time. Driving times will be scheduled when the classroom instruction begins. Class dates are on the back side of this letter.
Wilmot School charges $175 for Wilmot school students and $325 for out of district students. Students must register before Friday, February 10th. Students must pay before the first class. Checks should be payable to the Wilmot School. The class will be a pass/fail course not taken for credit. Forms were handed out to interested students in November. If this form has been lost, please have your child pick up a form in the high school office or stop by the school.

During Morning Meeting for Second Grade, Mrs. Butler's students share who they would like "wishes well" for. Students share who they are thinking of and why. When they're done, the class all recites, "'Name,' weeee....WISH you well!" It's an awesome display of shared concern for those who matter most to our students. This morning they shared about family pets in the cold, family members, and a staff member who has a birthday! When they are done with their recitation, the arm/hand movements they display ends in a raised "hand heart" from all of the second graders.
