A reminder that every student NEEDS a physical to participate in interscholastic athletics in South Dakota! If you have not turned in a physical yet, you must have this in by the end of the week. Student athletes will NOT be able to participate if this is not turned in!

Based on state requirements, students cannot attend school without up-to-date immunizations. We need a copy of immunization records in the office ASAP. We are specifically looking for incoming 6th graders- they NEED Tdap & Meningococcal to be able to attend school this Fall.

Please complete the information below to communicate your child's choices for Middle School electives for school year 23-24.
This year, all sixth grade students will be taking a quarter of each: Art & Ag. They will also be required to take either Band or Choir, or they could choose to participate in both. On the days that sixth graders do not have band or choir, they will receive a study hall.
Seventh and Eighth grade students will have the choice of Art or Ag. This is a quarter class. In addition, students will be required to take a Computer class for one quarter and a Reading course for a semester. Students are REQUIRED to choose Band, Choir, or Both.
If you have multiple children in Middle School, complete the form for each student.

A reminder for activities this coming year!!!
ALL student-athletes are required to have a full physical completed, along with the rest of the packet. We have copies in the office or you can find them at the link in this post.
Additionally, parents and student-athletes are asked to sign up for sportsYou- this is the primary mode of communication that our coaches will be using this year to communicate with students and parents. You can find invite codes for each team in the link as well.

The Wilmot School District is now partnering with LiveTicket.tv to provide a way to stream all home games throughout the school year free of charge to our fans! We will still utilize NFHS, but will also now have a YouTube Channel with livestreams of all home games.
LiveTicket helps to provide this option with high quality equipment and streaming ability, along with sponsored LOCAL advertisements throughout the game! Quick "commercials" during timeouts, halftimes, and before/after games, banners during the game, and more.
Todd Sandal from LiveTicket will be in Wilmot and the surrounding area next week starting on Tuesday! He will be visiting local businesses to explain their model and hopefully get some donors. The best part?? While we give this a "trial run" this year, the district receives 25% of all funds! If this goes well and we adopt LiveTicket as our sole provider, next year the district will receive 50%!
If you are a local business and would like to have Todd stop by, post your business or tag your Facebook page or website in the comments.
